The luxury and healthy benefits of a HOME SPA are most often spoiled by the ‘uninviting’ condition of the water. Too often you will open the spa cover to be hit with a less-than-pleasant odor, or murky, unhealthy-looking water. If the water ‘smells’ or ‘looks’ bad, it is probably a risk to your health!

The relatively small volume of water in a spa is very much more difficult to maintain (in sanitized and healthy condition) than the water in a much larger swimming pool. The effects of two people bathing in a 400 gallon spa are equivalent to 100 people using a 20,000 gallon back-yard swimming pool, all at the same time. You wonder why it is difficult to keep the spa water ‘just right’?

A well designed Saline System on your spa will automatically produce sanitizer (from the mild level of dissolved salt in the water) until the desired (selected) sanitizer level is achieved. It will produce sanitizer only as and when required (much like a thermostat maintains temperature). If the water requires sanitizer, the Saline System will produce it and when the selected sanitizer level is achieved the unit stops producing – until additional sanitizer is required.
