A Saline Purification System will eliminate the need to add ‘pool chlorine’, algaecides and ‘shock’ chemicals to the water – and all of the unwanted and often irritating effects associated with manual chlorination of the water. The mild saline water (approx 1/3rd the salinity of human tears) is also therapeutic in itself – helping to heal wounds, skin irritations etc.

A well designed Saline System on your Animal Therapy (or exercise) Pool will automatically produce sanitizer (from the mild level of dissolved salt in the water) until the desired (selected) sanitizer level is achieved. The system will produce sanitizer only as and when required (much like a thermostat maintains temperature). If the water requires sanitizer, the Saline System will produce it and when the selected sanitizer level is achieved the system stops producing, until additional sanitizer is required.

A Saline System will eliminate the need to gain very high chlorine levels prior to the animal entering the water (one dog entering water is the equivalent of 5 humans in terms of sanitizer demand) as sanitizer production will commence automatically, momentarily after the animal enters the water.
